We love QRCodes as we do *not* hate NFC tags

People think that reading an NFC sensor requires no interaction by the user. This is not true.
For example if you have an Android phone, you have to activate the feature:
1. Go to “Settings”
2. Display the “Wireless and Networks” section
3. Tick the box to activate NFC.
Once you have activated the NFC feature you still need to approach the device to read its content
The image above explains clearly that it is not true that NFC devices require no interaction.
Moreover, NFC devices are stille extremely expensive.
Although Validactor can use NFC or RFID devices and QRCodes, we strongly believe that for mass productions QRCodes are the winning technology.
QRCodes Advantages are:
- Minimal cost.
- Larger functionality distance ranges by increasing QR-code sizes.
- No surroundings interference concerns.
- Simple point assignment.
- Dynamic data and links can be modified without reprinting the QRCode
Massive productions such as those of the food industry that require fast and cost effective solutions for their serialization needs, must use QRCodes to be sure that anyone will be able to read them.
Any Validactor QRCode only contains an "https" address that points to the Cloud secured product item data. The https address of such data will never change, the data associated - instead - can be edited according to specific needs. For example when a product expired or is recalled.
